Apple-pear vanilla compote

A sweet and fragrant compote, ideal for dessert, snack or breakfast, lightly sweetened thanks to Diabliss sugar.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 15-20 minutes

Total time: 25-30 minutes

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 3 apples (Golden or Gala)

  • 2 ripe pears

  • 3 yogurt pots of flour

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Diabliss sweetener (to taste)

  • 1 vanilla pod or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 50 ml water

  • A splash of lemon juice (optional)

Préparation :

  • Peel the apples and pears, remove the cores, and cut them into pieces.

  • Place the fruit in a saucepan with the water and lemon juice.

  • Split the vanilla pod in half, scrape out the seeds, and add them (or add the vanilla extract).

  • Cook over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is very tender.

  • Add the Diabliss sweetener and mix well.

  • Blend for a smooth texture or mash with a fork for a chunky compote.

  • Let cool before serving.

To be enjoyed plain, with yogurt or cottage cheese, as an accompaniment to porridge or pancakes
